Berri Lookout Tower

Corner Fiedler Street and Vaughan Terrace Berri

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

The Berri lookout tower has been formed by converting a disused town water tower into a lookout. Wander up the 15.8 metre tower to get stunning views of the Berri Township and the Murray River. The town's name is derived from the aboriginal word for 'bend in the river' and was proclaimed in 1911. Berri features a gorgeous riverfront with plenty of area for picnics or playing sport and also includes floating wharf platforms, lookouts, historic monuments and an indigenous bridge mural.
